Issue
- - Account locked; customer care never seems to be open and phone support is unreachable.
- - Chat is useless and the app was easy to use when it worked.
They have locked my account, tried calling at several different times of the day to try to resolve it, and their customer care service seems to never be open. I have never been able to reach them through a phone call, obviously just trying to push people onto the app's chat feature (which is also useless). It is incredibly annoying when it was such an easy and good app to use when it worked.

Didn't receive my money
It's so frustrating I didn't receive my money and I have to travel to the headquarters
I wasn't able to collect my money because when I went to the bank, they said the money had been collected by someone, but I didn't collect it.

Verified ReviewerKenyan scammed used this app to steal from me, making 7 separate transactions. They made an account in my name and committed wire fraud, sending themselves my money, from 3 separate accounts.
- - Seven fraud transactions by a scammer.
- - Account created in name; funds moved from three accounts.
- - No way to stop transactions; WorldRemit blamed.
Still no resolution...I have all the screenshots that show debit after debit of fraudulent unauthorized transactions, until my account was finally at zero. They still tried multiple times after, but my card finally denied the transaction. I traced it down to Kenya.Still, after many requests, I haven't received a refund, as WorldRemit does not care.
Kenyan scammed used this app to steal from me, making 7 separate transactions. They made an account in my name and committed wire fraud, sending themselves my money, from 3 separate accounts.
There is NO WAY TO STOP THE TRANSACTIONS and "WorldRemit" is RESPONSIBLE FOR ALLOWING THESE SCAMMERS TO USE THEIR APP TO COMMIT WIRE FRAUD.
THEY'VE BEEN MADE AWARE AND they make no attempt to help, as they are making money from all of these fraudulent transactions.
I am reporting all of this information to the US FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION to have this website and app investigated, FINED AND SHUT DOWN.

I had never even heard of this company, let alone made an account with you. There are transactions on April 12th—two of them. One for a hundred bucks and one for $1,000. I never made those.

I used WorldRemit for years without incident. But when they wanted me to only use the app I was no longer interested. I tried in vain to close my account but no luck
world remit did not respond! I and many others had good experiences over the years and I stayed with them even when better rates were available elsewhere. I wonder what changed?
